The International cup was up for grabs again. This time the venue was the new Chiang Mai Inthanon golf course, and what a day it turned out to be. 40 members had signed up for this Texas scramble event and everyone turned up bright and early. So early in fact that the shotgun start was 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Thank you all.
The course was in as good condition as you can expect from a brand new golf course. The fairways nice with enough grass to make decent shots and yet give lots of roll, so many long drives were made. The greens are still a bit hard, but very nice and they read true.
The staff at Inthanon did a great job with transportation to the various tees and even had set out the nearest to pin markers, much too our pleasant surprise.
The Ambrose system worked very well, with a difference of only 5 shots between the winning team and the last team.
